**The Role**

At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, we are looking for a talented **Technical Support Team Leader** to be a part of our Technical Support team, focusing on our insulation brands and products. In the role, you will lead a team of Technical Advisors who respond quickly and accurately to customer enquiries thereby delighting the customer, encouraging them to return, whilst maximising SGIS specification opportunities.

The working hours for this role will be Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with hybrid working, preferably based at one of our UK sites but we are flexible.

**What you will be doing**:

- Lead and coach the Insulation Technical Support team to provide technical solutions for key customers and targeted projects
- Take a supporting role in SGIS winning more high value business
- Analyse and understand customer enquiries to develop and enhance our self-help offer through market-leading technical information
- Develop processes to ensure enquiries are prioritised then respond to accurately, thus exceeding customer needs and demonstrating our technical expertise
- Develop new and existing relationships with key customers whilst exploring opportunities to win high value specifications
- Monitor standards of competence and ensure quality, accuracy and efficiency of the teams’ responses are always maintained

**Is this job for you?** What we’re looking for**:

- Relevant technical experience with insulation products/materials in a relevant degree or within a design, specification, or technical role
- Previous experience of leading, coaching, motivating, and developing a high performing, customer facing team
- Ability to work under pressure in a customer facing environment
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn and participate in continuous development of technical knowledge
- Understanding of the specification route to market
