**Role Title**:PL Explain Regulatory Change

**What will you be doing**

Product Control Regulatory Change is a change function responsible for driving the Finance response to significant Regulatory demands, including but not limited to: PL Explain, Independent Valuation, Model and Methodologies, Fundamental Review of the Trading Book.
- Drive consistency across asset classes
- Improve rigor across the function through increased systemization and formality of process
- Increase Challenge and improve consistency
- Drive Response to Regulatory feedback on the aforementioned themes and any subsequent feedback
- We build an effective partnership with Regulators and successfully driving changes across the organization to meet our Regulatory requirements in a consistently excellent way.
- We challenge the status quo around system, people and process to ensure that responses are both effective and efficient.
- Work closely with Line PC, Business Partnering and Risk team to ensure that technology specification and build are:
o Aligned with Regulatory expectations

o Enhance the control processes

o Improve efficiency

o Reduce production - increase analysis
- Provide thought leadership across the industry

**Skills that will help you in your role**
- Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- ACCA or MSc or a similar qualification and/or professional qualification (e.g. CFA, FRM) is preferred.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a Valuation Control function, Product Control, risk management or trading role of a top tier investment bank.- Experience and proven track record in dealing with junior and senior members of Front office, Line Product Control, Risk management teams and Regulators across various locations.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong financial product knowledge and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management and ability to work independently to resolve unstructured problems. Team player.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present / explain complex issues in simple terms with stakeholders from Trading, Finance, Market Risk and IT across different levels.
- Proactive and assertive in identifying control concerns and driving control improvement for their area. Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines. Able to multi-task and prioritize own request.
