Director - Regulatory Change

Location: London, UK / Dublin, Ireland

Salary: £135,000 + Bonus

This is an exciting opportunity for a Director of Regulatory Change to join a dynamic team, providing pivotal support to the Head of Regulatory Change. As part of this role, you will assist with the transition from a MIFID Investment Firm to a Credit Institution. This involves guiding both the application process and the post-application strategy, ensuring the seamless production of an enhanced suite of Prudential Regulatory reporting requirements.

You will be responsible for identifying necessary data uplifts, collaborating with external vendors and internal teams to create robust reporting solutions, and supporting new product reporting as the firm evolves into a Credit Institution. With a strong knowledge of investment banking products, prudential regulatory, and statistical reporting, you’ll play a key role in shaping the region’s data strategy and reporting controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expertise in regulatory reporting for MIFID investment firms or credit institutions (Preferably a Tier 1 Bank)

• Strong knowledge of at least 3 of these: Capital and liquidity reporting, Pillar 3, Anacredit, and Statistical Reporting

• In-depth technical understanding of banking products and regulatory reporting

• Experience in interpreting regulations and applying them to reporting processes

• Analytical mindset with a strong ability to identify and resolve data issues

• Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and make strategic recommendations

• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities

Risk Management:

You will be responsible for identifying and managing Operational and Reputational Risk, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations. Your role includes contributing positively to the firm’s reputation and fostering strong, ethical relationships with stakeholders, clients, regulators, and vendors.

Policy Adherence:

Adherence to the organisation's Code of Conduct and Ethics is essential, ensuring that all responsibilities are carried out with integrity, diligence, and care. As a leader, you’ll ensure that your team follows regulatory guidelines, reporting any violations promptly and ensuring continuous supervision and compliance within your function.

Framework & Culture:

The company's framework helps shape the organisation’s culture and growth. By embracing shared commitments, you’ll guide and support your colleagues, helping the firm thrive and succeed. This role offers you the chance to make a lasting impact on the company’s future success.
