As the team leader for Hyndburn and Ribble Valley community mental health team. We believe in leading people with integrity and kindness, ensuring that people feel happy and comfortable at work. We want to support people to work towards their development and career goals. It is important to me to promote wellbeing and flexibility within the team, ensuring a good work life balance.
The Hyndburn and Ribble Valley team are a friendly, dedicated, supportive and flexible team, who strive to provide the best care possible with the resources we have in our area. We are looking for individuals with a passion for community mental health, who will help us deliver this to our Service Users.
We are looking for registered mental health practitioners (qualified social workers, mental health nurses or occupational therapists) to be part of our team. Ideally, you will have been qualified for several years. You need to be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and autonomously and have experience of assessing, planning and implementing and reviewing care needs, risk assessment and management, and the ability to explore issues relating to the impact of health and social needs on mental health and well-being. We are aware you may not be familiar with the local resources or processes, however please do not worry we will naturally support you with the transition to community working.
