**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
To support the delivery and planning of Climb 4’s Community & Families and Mental Health and wellbeing activities, for Children young people and families. The role will involve planning, support with preparation of sessions and assisting with the delivery of individual activities and programmes. You will have the opportunity to work within the community, schools, youth clubs and holiday clubs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete Apprentice training programme for a Community Activator Coach
- including additional quals - Award in Safeguarding and Certificate in Promoting Community Health and Well-being. 18 Months Learning Programme.
- Upon completion of Standards, apprentice will automatically be given GIMSPA ( Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity) at Affiliate member level.
- Work closely with the health and well-being co-ordinator to create, plan and deliver innovative physical activity, sport and organised play workshops. Adapting sessions to meet needs where appropriate.
- Provide small and larger group support of children and young people.
- Help create a positive and inclusive environment.
- Be a positive role model and develop excellent supportive relationships with the vulnerable CYP and families we support.
- Develop an inspirational programme to encourage engagement
- Support children in managing their behaviour and emotional/social well-being.
- Support children/young people welfare
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks
- Contribute to the assessment and tracking of CYP &F progression.
- Complete ongoing CPD training
- Take part in monitoring, reviews, and evaluations
- Assist with othertasks and projects as directed by supervisors
- Learn and develop skills
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Good ICT skills and experienced in using Microsoft Office packages.
- Good Literacy skills

- Experience of developing and maintaining successful positive relationships with children & young people
- Have some knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding
- Having a clean driving **l**icense is beneficial as will need to be able to travel within authority.
