We are looking for an HR Assistant to join our HR team, supporting colleagues and managers across 2 sites in the Leeds area.
Reporting to the HR Advisor, you will support managers and colleagues with day to day HR queries and be responsible for ensuring all employee documentation is dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
Key responsibilities include;
- To provide an informative induction on day 1 to all new starters
- To ensure all new starters are competent in the mandatory procedures within their first 12 weeks and are refreshed as appropriate
- To maintain a fully managed electronic training matrix for the business, by departmental need
- To ensure all new starter paperwork is completed accurately and collated in a timely manner with relevant systems update
- To work with factory teams to update Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring accuracy and ease of use
- To ensure all HR Administration is completed accurately, in a timely manner
- To support the HR Advisor with Employee Relations cases as required
- To manage the Right to Work process, proactively chasing visa renewals and ensuring the system is accurate, with all colleagues having a valid Right to Work document on file
This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator wanting to move into HR, or for someone in the early stages of their HR career wanting exposure to the food manufacturing industry.
You will have excellent attention to detail and communication skills, be able to juggle multiple tasks at once and enjoy working with people.
The hours can be discussed, but ideally this would suit someone wanting 5 short days rather than a shorter working week.
