Our client, a family-owned business manufacturing company who deal with clients in a wide variety of sectors, is looking for a Sales Account Executive to join their team.

This is a sales support role and we are looking for someone with excellent sales support and administration experience. Fastener knowledge preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.

A proactive approach to dealing with problems is required to ensure issues are resolved quickly and customers have a great experience. Our client offers a salary of between £24k and £30k depending on experience plus potential of up to 15% bonus and annuabonus. Benefits include

Key responsibilities include
- Ensure customers receive order acknowledgments, confirming all orders
- Report customer complaints to the business
- Ensure special customer requirements are followed and completed before goods are dispatched
- Arrange collections and deliveries to customers
- Ensure delivered stock is allocated to customers and operational team leaders are briefed
- Complete customer order books, advising customers when they will receive goods
- Manage incoming inventory by working with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure service levels and back-order targets are met
- Respond to ad-hoc request from Sales/Marketing teams
- Download customer orders from online platforms
- Produce ad hoc and regular reports that support the business
- To make outbound calls to existing customers as required

Skills and experience
- Account management and sales experience
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong work ethic
- Ability to use Microsoft Office packages to an intermediate level, especially Excel
- GCSE in Maths and or English Language - Grade A to C
- Ideally knowledge and experience in the fastener market, but not essential
- Strong communication skills
- A passion to meet agreed set targets
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently based on strong organisational and planning skills
- Confident, determined and assertive
- Team player
