Learning and Development Administrator

An established law firm is looking for a learning and development and HR administrator to join their busy Birmingham team. This role is an initial 12 month fix term contract, and the role requires some one with some previous experience in HR or learningand development. This role is split into 60% learning and development and 40% HR admin, so this role needs someone to hit the ground running and have the ability to work autonomously in high pressure environments.
Some Key responsibilities:
Learning and development:
- Supporting the organisation and set-up of various L&D programmes and workshops
- Liaising with external providers and monitoring learning activities
- To be a key contact for the firms e-learning platform, answering queries and administering user accounts
HR Admin:
- To undertake the administration of new starters, including issuing contracts, ensuring a smooth and seamless onboarding experience for all new starters
- To produce a range of HR letters and correspondence and undertake relevant calculations to include in these.
- To be responsible for accurate keeping of all records using the firms’ relevant system
- To ensure that all pre employment checks are complete and satisfactory before any employee commences and any issues are escalated as appropriate.
