**Role Overview**:
The role of the Learning and Development Manager is to create and deliver bespoke training programmes, ensuring that skills and internal talent is continually developed across all levels of the organisation. Having a profound understanding of recruitmentbest practice is key to establishing suitable training programmes, that align to the business strategy. The learning and Development Manger will help cultivate an environment of continuous learning and professional development, by fundamentally coaching anddeveloping Consult Energy’s people to achieve their personal goals and business objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate new starter training and inductions
- Organise and tailor training throughout a new starters probationary period
- Update and review training material to ensure that it remains fit for purpose
- Create individual training plans, ensuring that they align to personal career goals and business objectives, then following up against targets for review and completion.
- Observational training for new starters on systems, processes, and in-house technology
- Develop observational assessments / tests to understand interindividual abilities and required areas for improvement
- Develop a training needs analysis for the UK and US business
- Coordinate and track completed training and activity
- 3rd party relationship management with TRN, the Recruitment Gym and other external training providers
- Ad hoc project work, such as, rolling out new systems, processes, and templates
- Work collaboratively with the Head of People, Talent Manager and Hiring Managers regarding the review and development of onboarding and recruitment processes.
- Working the Head of People and Hiring managers to help internal talent and succession plan accordingly

**Skills**:

- Able to manage and develop robust training plans, that assess skills and capabilities within the business
- Adapt to different training styles, to get the best out of people
- Able to build relationships both internally and externally
- Well-developed people management skills
- Able to embrace different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, classroom-based training, or coaching
- Able to manage busy workloads and prioritise tasks
- Confident in presenting to large audiences
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Agency Recruitment knowledge and experience
