We are looking for experienced Team Leaders to join our fabulous, hard-working, and supportive team at Aspiro Derby. This is a new role in the organisation and is to help support the operational delivery of primary care services through our five sites in Derby City.

This role will play an integral part in our provision of high quality care, and here at Aspiro, we will give you the tools to thrive and communicate with our patients and staff confidently, starting with our induction program.

You must have a high level of IT literacy, be emphatic and able to deal with a diverse and demanding workload. Caring for our patients is top priority and we deal with hundreds of queries every day. Our team are based in our Practice at Hollybrook Medical Centre, Sinfin Health Centre, Haven Osmaston Rd, Haven Keldholme Lane and Parkfields Surgery. We deliver timely and accurate care to patients within Derby, signposting them to the most appropriate appointment or service for their needs and we are looking for a Site Team Leader for each site.

**1. Job Role & Purpose**:
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that systems, structures and processes that are in place are delivering the smooth and efficient day to day running of the site. Directly responsible for supporting the Patient Services Managers and their colleagues, to ensure we deliver excellent services and care for our patients.

**2. Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
With strong organisational and communication skills your responsibilities will include:

- Providing cover and assistance to the Patient Services Advisors as and when required
- Moving resources ‘in the moment’ to ensure that contact volume is met with the correct level of resource.
- You will work closely with the Patient Services Managers to ensure that all site daily tasks are carried out, including, but not limited to:

- Sorting on-site IT issues
- Ensuring appropriate reception cover
- Completion of administrative tasks within the practice
- Upholding of company standards.
- Maintaining excellent communication across the site and with others in Aspiro
- Helping the Patient Services Managers implement new processes and procedures and supporting the team during the implementation phase.
- Taking a positive active and / or administrative role in site meetings where required
- Assisting the reception team with their role providing help and support where required, assisting with training, and taking note and acting on feedback from colleagues.
- Promoting and demonstrating excellent customer service
- Supporting colleagues to maintain an efficient, hardworking and friendly working environment
- Able to handle verbal complaints.
- Helping the Patient Services Managers by anticipating potential problems such as shortages of staff, appointment availability and potential room availability issues
- Providing reception / telephone call cover where required
- Ordering stock and keeping an overview of stock levels to ensure a sufficient supply
- Having an overview of the upkeep of notice boards and general reception / waiting areas to ensure there is up to date information and that general housekeeping is to the correct standard
- Assisting in the induction and training of new staff
- Helping to monitor and oversee the annual review booking required for Quality Outcomes Framework and other enhanced services

**3. Performance Standards**:

- Evidence of ‘Leading By Example’ and acting as a ‘Role Model’ for colleagues
- Daily tasks are carried out within agreed timeframes
- Positive evidence of involvement in Site, Team and Group meetings
- Evidence of site operating efficiently with relevant communications present and understood in a variety of formats
