**Single Homeless Project** have opportunities for **SHPS Caseworkers** to join our teams based in **Hackney, Waltham Forest and Enfield.** You will join us on a **full time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours **and in return, you will receive a competitive salary starting at **£26,246.32 rising incrementally to £28,193.12 per annum**

From supporting people in crisis to helping people take the final steps towards independence and employment, we make a difference to 10,000 lives every year across London boroughs.

SHP have been commissioned to deliver SHPS services in Waltham Forest, Hackney and Enfield, working at the forefront of tackling homelessness in London. Working with the Housing Options teams, these services support single Londoners at risk of homelessness or those who are currently homeless into secure settled accommodation and then provide support to sustain their tenancies.

**About the SHPS Caseworker role**:
Caseworkers hold responsibility for developing holistic, coproduced Personal Housing Plans that facilitate the achievement of defined outcomes. The role is to provide effective, high quality support to a caseload of clients, providing them with realistic housing options that meet their needs.

The role requires close partnership working and the ability to deliver focused, time sensitive and effective housing interventions including sourcing accommodation in the private rented sector.

**What we're looking for in our SHPS Caseworkers**:

- An understanding of securing accommodation in the private rented sector; with a demonstrable knowledge of Housing and other related Legislation.
- Experience of completing high quality support plans which are collaborative and focused on setting and achieving goals.
- The ability to meet deadlines, achieve targets and manage time effectively, prioritising different areas of work according to need.
- Experience of working collaboratively with a number of different stakeholders in the public, private and voluntary sector to improve outcomes for clients.
- The ability to work within a strengths and recovery based model and engage and motivate people to move towards an appropriate level of independence and inclusion.
- Experience of delivering high quality, structured and time limited interventions that prevented or relieved homelessness.

- A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period
- A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am - 4pm) in non-accommodation services
