A glance at the role:
We have an exciting position in our Engagement Team for someone to join us as an Employer Engagement Advisor, to cover a period of parental leave initially for 12 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with confident public speaking and presentation skills to help support our clients and employers through virtual session delivery.

You will support the Engagement Operations Manager in the delivery of local government, police and fire pension scheme administration support to employers and external stakeholders. An important requirement of this role is to deliver consistently high-quality employer engagement activities, together with client and reputational management on behalf of LPPA. This is achieved through various activities including online training programmes (covering pension administration processes, regulatory updates and ‘how to’ presentations of LPPA systems) and the ongoing resolution of employer queries.

What you’ll be doing:

- To foster excellent relationships by maintaining clear communication, including the production of regular reports based on employer performance data, and undertaking regular client and employer visits in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA's). These are currently delivered online (remote) in either 1-1 service support sessions, or in larger groups (scheme members)
- To support the Operations Manager - Employer Engagement to ensure that LPPA meets its legal obligations under pension scheme disclosure regulations and under the terms of SLAs
- To deliver presentations to relevant stakeholders as required and in line with SLAs
- To deliver employer training and awareness as appropriate and where specific needs are identified.
- To help organise events, conferences and meetings as appropriate in line with SLA's, including pension support meetings, drop-in sessions, employer conferences and roadshows
- To be aware of and have an understanding of the regulations relating to the pensions schemes under administration as well as overriding pension legislation.
- Using employer performance data, prepare and present reports to internal and external clients and customers relating to pension administration, and highlight practical opportunities for improving performance.
- To support the development and maintenance of the LPPA employer website in respect of pension administration, to help maintain the accuracy, integrity and relevancy of the website (ensuring that information is up to date)
- To test/survey employer satisfaction on a regular basis and drive improvements as a result
- To support service provision as appropriate undertaking other duties commensurate with the post
- Treat information security with the upmost respect, dealing appropriately with sensitive and confidential information within Service protocol/guidelines.

What we need from you:

- An enthusiastic, positive, self-motivated, professional and dynamic individual would be suited to this role
- Proven experience in a customer service / communications role
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills
- Proven ability to effectively present technical information to all levels, including presenting to large groups of people (40+).
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to use a variety of IT, communications tools and media.
- Practical experience in a Local Government pension scheme env
