**Regional Sales Manager**

**Location**:Remote / Field / Home Based covering The Midlands, South and Wales.
**Contract**:Full time, permanent.

James Jones & Sons Ltd is one of UKs largest and most progressive timber processing companies. At the Timber Systems Division we produce high quality, JJI-Joists for the housebuilding and general construction market.

We are seeking to appoint a field-based Regional Sales Manager for a new sales territory covering the Midlands, South of England and Wales.
Regional Sales Manager - The role - Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager you will based at home with occasional visits to our head office in Larbert and Timber Systems Division based in Forres. The main duties will be selling our full range of JJI products to a mix of customers includingexisting distributors, timber frame and off-site manufacturers. There will also be a requirement to liaise with private and public sector house builders with regards to build specifications.

**Regional Sales Manager - Key tasks and responsibilities -**
- Maintain, manage, and develop sales to our existing customer base.
- Building strong relationships and servicing the needs of our customers.
- Manage individual accounts in coordination with the senior sales manager, sales team and production colleagues.
- Target and develop prospective accounts through pro-active enquiry generation and leads.
- Achieve sales growth and increase market share whilst maintaining and enhancing profitability.
- Credit management of customers within sales territory.

**What we need from you -**
- Be enthusiastic, personable and have a helpful manner.
- An effective communicator, have a good telephone manner and be comfortable in using the telephone as a main communication tool.
- Be able to establish a rapport with colleagues and customers alike.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be numerate and computer literate (proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
- The ability to work as part of a small and established team is essential.

This is a home-based position, ideally in the Midlands area to facilitate effective coverage throughout the sales territory.
