This **Procurement Officer** role will be working full time hours (37 hours per week) but will have the added benefit of being **able to work from home fully remotely** and required to be in the office once a fortnight.

**£27,000 - £33,000 per annum DOE**

**Procurement Officer duties and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing a procurement caseload in relation to project work
- Increased uptake from local and smaller/medium enterprises
- Sourcing the best value for money and reducing process costs
- The action of acquiring goods, work or services including the design of approach and specifying the requirement
- Robust and compliant with procurements
- Ensuring all compliance to public sector standards are adhered to at all times
- Experience of working within local or central government in a procurement administration team
- You will need to ensure that the procurements are meeting UK regulations for public sector bodies as well as the internal process
