**HEAD OF STAKEHOLDER AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT**
**DIVISION**:Civil Engineering
**CONTRACT**: Permanent
**LOCATION**:UK wide - As our projects are Nationwide, we are open to consider applicants from all UK regions. Our office bases include Manchester, Peterborough, Lincoln and St. Albans to name but a few.

**A valid UK driving licence is also a necessity as many of our sites are not served by public transport.**

The role of Head of Stakeholder & Community Engagement will lead the GRAHAM Stakeholder & Community Engagement Team within the Civils Division, acting as a trusted advisor, providing recommendations and challenges to senior management to guide decision-making on matters that affect the strategic direction and reputation of GRAHAM when handling complaints and External Stakeholder issues affecting a project or the business.

You will be expected to contribute to the development of strategic objectives and long-term Stakeholder Management & Community plans and further develop the working relationships with internal departments including MarComms, Health & Safety, Environment, IMS and the Insurance Team.

You will oversee and line directly manage 3 Stakeholder Managers and indirectly support 4 staff carrying out Stakeholder Management within different sections of the company.

The successful applicant will be expected to own and manage the following processes:

- Stakeholder Management & Community Engagement 5 year Plan
- PF32 Stakeholder Management Process
- Customer Relations Information System (CRIS) CRM System
- Review and allocate Stakeholder Bid Submissions
- Client Satisfaction Surveys and evidence gathering
- Producing monthly Directors reports
- Continuously promote and raise the profile of the work carried out by the team

**The ability to support and mentor a diverse team of staff is essential, as is the ability to diplomatically and effectively resolve customer issues/complaints.**

**Duties to expect**:

- Lead, motivate and develop a diverse functional team of managers, setting objectives, managing performance and ensuring that staff have the necessary skills to deliver organisational objectives.
- Contribute to the leadership of the Stakeholder and Community Engagement team, taking responsibility for specific functional matters as agreed, to deliver consistent and effective leadership.
- Lead in developing and implementing strategy/operational plans for the function (but not limited to) the 7 core processes as listed in the Job Summary.
- Provide expertise and guidance to senior internal/external stakeholders to support the achievement of their strategic/operational goals.
- Act as recognised expert providing representation externally at events or with stakeholders/partners to build and maintain GRAHAM’s reputation.
- Lead the development and implementation of policies, processes, and systems in order to ensure they are in line with strategic business objectives.
