Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of **‘Your Life, Your Choice’** and our strategy **‘Best Lives Possible’.**

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by **investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development.** We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
We are aged from 47 to 55 so have lots of life experience, routines and important parts of our lives.

We each have some communication difficulties which sometimes leads us to become anxious if you do not understand what our presentation or behaviours mean. These could include both physical and verbal signs.

Staff are trained in mandatory care skills such as first aid. New staff are buddied up to with experienced staff to ensure they get to know our routines, likes and preferences, and ways of speaking and non verbal communication.

**What is important to us**
- To have our house just how we want it, and have a team who like to get the best of everything for us and support us to do just that in every way
- We love a good film with sweets, pop, vodka and beer. Not to mention X-Factor, Dancing on Ice and a bit of 'Corrie. But favourite night is Chinese or kebab on a Saturday night.
- We live in a beautiful 2 storey house on an estate in Fishburn. We have a beautiful bedroom each,
- We have a sensory room, kitchen, conservatory and a shared laundry, bathroom and small toilet
- All of the rooms are tailored to all of our tastes and needs, from unicorns, birds, to plain colours and stripy curtains.- Our front garden is lawn and trees to line the drive.- There is a poly tunnel which we grow produce and we have had some beautiful tomatoes, leeks, garlic and even a leno plant. You should see our pictures.- We have a shared lounge where we have a tv, Netflix- And the kitchen, well heart of the house of course we love food - We like to watch, stir, make and bake - We send our neighbours a card and maybe a drawn picture at Xmas and deliver this.- We have a drive way for 3 cars at the front of the house**Your values**:
What essential skills and experience is needed for the role?

We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why **we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values **and **we recruit people from all walks of life**; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
