As an Adaptive consultant, you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team with whom we would encourage you to engage on a regular basis. You will have access to the firm's resources and Know-how and have the opportunity to be involved in training and development at the Firm.

**Main purpose of the role**:
Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from compliance professionals and/or compliance officers to support an investment firm.

Day to day duties to include but not limited to:

- Reviewing the implications and impact of upcoming regulatory changes.
- Providing insight and input into a variety of projects including new fund launches and other development initiatives.
- Preparing and maintaining certifications relating to SMCR.
- Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.

**Person specification**:

- You are an experienced compliance officer or professional.
- You hold buy side in-house experience.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You can work autonomously but can also collaborate effectively as part of the wider team.
- Self-motivated team player, with a desire to develop strong relationships and excellent time management skills.
