Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive is keen to hear from experienced regulatory lawyers who have a background in financial institutions and/or asset management. We are expecting to see an increase in demand from clients for consultants to support on interim assignments. We are especially expecting projects to focus on consumer duty and ESG. If consultants have experience with implementing these regulations that is of particular interest. We expect these assignments to support a five- or four-day working week and offer hybrid working.

Person specification:

1. You are a qualified solicitor, with training from a top tier practice.
2. You will have previous regulatory, implementation and horizon scanning experience from a Financial Institution or Asset Manager.
3. You will have direct implementation experience with consumer duty and/or ESG, which is highly advantageous.
4. You are collaborative and have excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
5. Our clients expect a high degree of client service orientation and responsiveness.
6. You will be required to hold the relevant right to work for the UK, visa sponsorship is not available via Adaptive.
