We are looking for a rulebook configuration analyst to join a team which sits within the UW New Services team as part of the DT&S function. This role will support the internal development of the RuleBook team, made up of actuaries with domain expertise andconfiguration analysts, who manage the development of products in RuleBook
**Key Responsibilities**
The RuleBook Configuration Analyst will be part of a team with responsibility for:

- Creating, deploying and managing the process for new product specifications to be developed in RuleBook
- Updating and managing the process for changes to product specifications for implemented RuleBook products
- Configuration of RuleBook products including the drafting of documents, development of user interfaces, workflow tools and broker portals
- Working with stakeholders to elicit, document, configure and test requirements
- Managing and maintaining the quality of data at each stage in the underwriting and reporting process
- Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements forms part of your role, and the demonstration of behaviours as set out in the Conduct Risk Policy, as they relate to your role, is core to the clients commitment to placing customers at the centre of ourbusiness and behaving with integrity.
**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience of configuring Rulebook products previously and/or experience of writing, testing and developing within in a programming language such as XML, C++, Python and R or similar would be equally useful.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to translate and prioritise business requirements into technical solutions is highly desirable
- An understanding of technology in product development is highly desirable
- An understanding of full project lifecycle in a structured environment would be an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong writing skills to produce comprehensive and accurate documentation
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technologies
**Hybrid working - 2-3 days in the office**
