**The Role**

You will be responsible for the administration of the Group's monthly payroll, working with the UK & Ireland Payroll Lead, HR, Finance and the payroll providers. You will also have the opportunity to assist with the management of the employee benefits queries and renewals, ensuring staff are enrolled into the correct benefits plans in a timely and accurate manner, and tracking the benefits payments and renewals. Additionally, as the Payroll Assistant you will have the change to manage and own the payroll/benefits inbox and communications with employees.

You will report to our UK & Payroll Lead and will be based in a hybrid arrangement from our London Inizio office.

**Role Responsibilities**

**Payroll**
- Managing the group inbox in accordance with internal SLA, customer service with good communication skills both written and verbal
- Assisting employees with access issue on the payroll portal
- Administering the monthly UK, Republic of Ireland and rest of the world payrolls alongside the UK & Ireland Payroll Lead and with the payroll providers
- Running and checking pre-commit reports and entering corrections as necessary within payroll cut-off dates
- Acting as second-checker on each payroll input pre-sign off to comply with our internal SLA
- Maintaining a good relationship with the payroll providers
- Supporting with implementing written payroll processes and guides
- Drafting internal payroll communications
- Assisting with benefit administration. E.g. making amendments on benefit portals, placing benefit orders
- Assisting with any ad-hoc request

**What do you bring to the Role?**
- Exceptional attention to detail with good analytical and numeracy skills
- Experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Able to demonstrate working knowledge and experience of EU payroll legislation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills
- Drive and imagination: someone who has an eye for creativity and engagement for creating guidance documents and presentations for payroll/benefits processes - as well as constantly analyse their effectiveness to improve results.
- Recent relevant experience managing general administrative tasks and Microsoft software.
- A passion for customer service, always taking a proactive approach to any employee interactions.
- Exceptional skills in communications, and data analysis, making decisions based on policy guidelines and demonstrating a real eye for detail.
- The ability to build, manage, and deepen relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders all over the world - creating a rapport, having a positive influence, and unlocking new opportunities.
- Taking initiative, someone who is not afraid of a challenge, and the ability to create real positive impact to the payroll and benefits team with your team player attitude.
- A powerful, practical understanding of today's world relating to payroll and benefits, giving you the ability to create, monitor, and report on our employee data.
