**Job Overview**
Applications are invited for the position of Laboratory Systems Co-Ordinator, based in our Research &
Development division in Newry. The Laboratory Systems Co-Ordinator will be responsible for co-ordinating
laboratory and system support activities in the day to day running of the GLP laboratories and to support the
archive function for long term secure storage of facility and study data.

**Main Activities/Tasks **

Responsible for the processing of purchase orders for laboratory consumables and Capital orders in
accordance with company policy and tracking to ensure on-time delivery, goods are appropriate technical
specification and to ensure all required associated records are available.

Coordinate and perform the qualification, preventative maintenance, backups (where applicable) and the
repair of laboratory equipment and systems to ensure all equipment and records are maintained in
accordance with GLP and cGMP policies and procedures.

Liaise with vendors as required, accompany vendors while on site and organise equipment shipping as
required.

Assisting in preparation of Standard Operating Procedures, Associated Documents and Risk assessments
required for laboratory equipment and computerised systems.

Assisting with the generation of system lifecycle documentation deliverables including but not limited to
Concept Documents, Periodic Review reports, System Evaluations, FMEA risk assessments, Requirements
Traceability Matrix, User Requirements Specifications, Functional Specifications, Design Specifications,
Configuration Specifications, Validation Plan, Test Plan, Test Protocol, Test Scripts, Retirement Plan,
Retirement Report.

Responsible for assisting in the activities required for Capital Equipment Requests and overseeing and
planning subsequent qualification of incoming equipment.

Lead the commissioning and qualification of new equipment, ensuring all requirements are met and
maintaining the GxP equipment master plan/systems inventory for GLP to ensure it reflects equipment.

Back up to the archivist for long term secure storage of facility and study data and records.

**Essential Criteria:
- At least two years' experience working in a GxP regulated Laboratory environment.

High level of competency in numeracy and excellent IT skills, in particular MS Excel, Word.

Excellent organisational, planning, motivational and communication skills.

Previous experience in DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ for laboratory equipment.

**Desired Requirements: **

Previous experience in liaising with contractors, on time delivery and ordering consumables, and
laboratory equipment.

Previous experience in liaising with vendors in relation to identifying and communicating key company
system requirements.

Previous experience troubleshooting issues relating to analytical laboratory equipment and systems such
as liquid chromatography, turbovaps, centrifuges etc.

Previous experience in COSHH and Risk Assessment.

Previous experience with Trackwise and P2P (Networked purchasing software).

A working knowledge of Good laboratory Practice.
