Event Supervisor

**The Role**

As part of the role, you'll work side-by-side with the Director, learning how to coordinate and operate events, liase with clients, rig equipment and ensure guests and antendees have a truly memorable experience.

Your development will see you in line to move up in your position, eventually managing teams and coordinating large scale projects. As a bonus, you'll be awarded stock options, so the company success is your success

To assist with the operation and setup of events equipment at events, provide exceptional customer service to clients and maintain safety guidelines.

**Salary**: From £12.50 per hour

Application question(s):

- The role will require you to work long days/nights any day of the week. Are you available to work any time throughout the week?
- You have a 8 racing simulators operating from PCs all with Ethernet cables already connected. In an equipment box you see a 4 LAN port Router and a 10 port Network Switch. Briefly describe how you'd create a LAN so the simulators can race together.
- You arrive at a restaurant and have been told by the manager your equipment setup area is in a room upstairs where the tables have already been cleared away. The equipment is too large and won't fit up the stairwell which you tell the manager, however there are several smaller spaces downstairs that are, although already reserved, still suitable.

Do you:
a) Call it a day. The client has seen the restaurant and been told the equipment can't be upstairs and they booked it anyway so it's their fault.
b) Negotiate with the manager to move reservations upstairs so you can take the downstairs rooms.
c) Advise the client of the issue and ask if they have another more suitable venue that you can setup in.
d) None of the above, you have a better solution Explain
