Our Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) have an exciting opportunity for 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our friendly team as an Administration Assistant.
We are looking for a full time Administration Assistant who will be based at The Flying Scotsman in Doncaster town center supporting the Intensive Community Support Team (ICST) and the Crisis team. The clinical team who are based there are responsible for the provision of an efficient and safe service for patients across our three localities.
We are also looking to recruit a full time Administration Assistant who will be based within the CAMHS admin office at Tickhill Road Hospital who will provide admin support to the clinicians and staff within the CAMHS service including the With Me In Mind pathway.
Applicants should have the ability to deal with people at all levels in a polite and professional manner and should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need to be flexible and adaptable to the varying demands and changing circumstances and priorities of the services.
It’s important you are able to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment, handling large volumes of tasks, some of which may be challenging to deal with. Communication and team working are essential qualities to succeed in this role, as you will be required to liaise with a wide range of professionals and patients.
You must be effective in prioritizing workloads with a flexible and have a patient-centered approach. You must have the proven ability to work independently using your own initiative, as well work as part of a team.
This is a challenging role requiring excellent IT skills and standard software packages including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of NHS systems including System One would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be given.
Essential requirements for this post are RSA II Typing/Word Processing or equivalent and educated to GCSE (Grade C or above in English and Mathematics) level or hold equivalent qualifications or have an equivalent level of experience within an admin-based role.
There may, at times, be a need to travel between various locations, it would be an advantage if the applicant is able to travel independently.
