Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of activities for residents in a nursing home setting.
- Develop and implement engaging programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being of senior residents.
- Create a calendar of events and activities to ensure a diverse range of options for residents to participate in.
- Coordinate with staff members to ensure activities are properly staffed and resources are available.
- Communicate with residents and their families to gather feedback and suggestions for future activities.
- Provide support and assistance to residents during activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a nursing home, or senior care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care and understanding of the unique needs of seniors with cognitive impairments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members.
- Ability to plan and organize multiple activities simultaneously while ensuring a high level of quality.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues or concerns that may arise during activities.

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
