An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our friendly and growing team.

The post holder will be offered onsite training, learning and development, which will enable them to complete the agreed Stoma Service Competencies required to safely care for our patients.

The role involves supporting patients throughout diagnosis and stoma formation surgery, including pre-op counselling, education and training, discharge planning and ongoing review and follow-up.

The post holder will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience at Band 2 HCSW on a colorectal ward, and be actively involved in the support, education and management of stoma care patients.
