Safeguarding Admin Team Leader

To provide supervision of a team of administrators on a day to day basis. Manage and co-ordinate leave and cover arrangements; undertaking appraisals; ensuring compliance with mandatory training etc To undertake agreed appropriate tasks for Named and Senior Nurses to support the Safeguarding Children, Safeguarding Midwifery and Children in Care health professionals, as required To support development of and ensure consistent and standardised implementation of policies and procedures across the admin team To ensure day to day delivery of admin services across Safeguarding Children Team, escalating any issues which may affect operational delivery against standards and which have not been able to be resolved within the team To ensure newly appointed admin staff are trained to the required level To monitor workload and performance against accuracy and timeliness standards across the admin team, taking any necessary corrective action to ensure these are met To receive and respond to internal and external correspondence, taking appropriate and timely action as required, in accordance with Trust and/or departmental standards and processes. To take notes at complex health professionals meetings, team meetings and any other ad hoc events, as required and transcribe. To undertake regular communication with members of the admin team, including weekly team briefings To facilitate accurate data input to spreadsheets, extraction of data and compiling performance reports including Children in Care IHA and RHA reports and Safeguarding Children performance reports as required.
