We are looking for an HR Assistant / Officer / Advisor for our Bristol based, financial services client; the position is a 3-4-month contract to take responsibility for routine day to day HR queries whilst a permanent, Head of HR is recruited. This is a hybrid position working 2 days a week in the office and 3 days a week from home.

**The role**
- Being the first point of contact for recruitment (posting vacancies, processing CVs, arranging interviews, providing feedback, preparing offer letters and contracts, and completing pre-employment checks
- Dealing with HR queries from managers and employees, escalating as required
- If HR Advisor level supporting managers with issues such as absence, capability, performance, disciplinaries and grievances.
- Filing and data management - maintaining personnel files and updating the HR system as required
- Responsibility for the leavers and offboarding process
- Any other HR administration as required.

You aren’t expected to have experience in everything, but you will need a strong foundation of HR and HR processes gained Advisor, Officer, or Assistant level ideally in a similar kind of environment (financial services, professional services, consulting or similar).

This role is offered on a 3-4-month fixed term full-time contract and much of the role can be done remotely if desired, but you will need to be able to work in the Bristol office on occasions, maybe once per week or slightly more in the early stages of the role.

£25,000 - £35,000

Central Bristol (but can be predominantly home based if desired)
