Cake Decorator

Eggfree Cake Box is dedicated to producing the highest quality egg free, vegetarian fresh cream and icing cakes for all occasions.
We are a fast paced cake franchise based in Telford. We are looking to recruit a cake decorator who can also provide a good customer service.
Skills and Experience:

- Strong Customer Service - to include excellent verbal communication and listening skills
- Previous experience of taking orders both face-to-face and over the phone
- The ability to assist and advise customers to satisfy their needs
- Handling cash and card transactions
- Multi Tasking - ability to use own initiative and be proactive
- Food Hygiene and Sanitation
- Previous cake decorating skills are desirable but not essential as training will be provided
Roles and responsibilities include:

- To work as part of a team to ensure that all orders and daily checks are met
- Produce a full range of high quality Cakes according to customer requirements and meet the specifications and standards set by the brand
- Customer focused to ensure seamless customer journey/experience
- Follow the Production plan to ensure the right quantity of Products are produced within set timeframes
- Working with all Members of the team including management and also work well as an individual
- Ability to follow processes, manage time and prioritise tasks
- Maintaining a clean working environment at all times to meet health and safety standards
We have an excellent history of training new staff and developing skills both related to cake making/decorating and to that of working in a busy business.
