**Summary**

Before a product is released to the public, it goes through a lot of quality assurance testing: the IT QA Lead organises and manages that testing. You’ll plan testing activities for all phases of release/delivery. Ensuring the testing teams meet deadlines set out in test plans. In order to maintain deadlines, the IT QA Lead evaluates the team and progress throughout the project to identify areas where improvements can be made or support is required.

The IT QA Lead is just as responsible for the successful product launch as the engineers or developers involved in that project. This is a skilled role that requires extensive previous experience in quality assurance, preferably in a regulated financial environment and requires experience of task managing resources across multiple teams

**IT Quality Assurance Lead (Automation)**

Perm Role - Hybrid working 1-2 days in the office

The IT QA Automation Lead will lead the effort to build new test frameworks and/or extend/improve existing frameworks and will work with a team of automation testers supporting the design and execution of test cases.

**What we need from you**:

- Proven QA and/or test lead experience
- Proven task management experience
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience of working in the Financial Sector
- Awareness of risk management

**Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for developing the test automation framework
- Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the test automation framework
- Responsible for determining the scope of test automation
- Responsible for selecting the right tools
- Responsible for the Test Automation Strategy
- Responsible for test planning & design
- Responsible for setting up the test environment
- Responsible for test script development
- Responsible for functional and regression test execution
- Responsible for analysis and reporting
- Responsible for the Test Automation ROI calculator/tracker
- Contributes to lessons learned
- Responsible for identifying automation trainings needs
- Responsible for mentoring team members to develop automation skills
- Responsible for attending Agile ceremonies

To be considered you must have:

- Expert knowledge of Selenium & Appium with C#
- Strong knowledge of API automation with C#
- Strong knowledge of Azure Dev Ops
- Strong knowledge pf Azure Test Ops
- Experienced in using Git commands
- Experience of using BrowserStack for test automation
- Experience of working in an Agile environment

Nice to have:

- Awareness of Robotic Process Automation
- Awareness of widely used open source automation tools
- Awareness of desktop automation test tools
- Awareness of Dockization
- Awareness of widely used cloud computing platforms (E.g. AWS, Azure & GCP)
- Awareness of Performance testing
- Experience of using JMeter or BlazeMeter
- Experience of automated ETL testing
