Lead Supplier Quality Engineer

As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for planning and executing external in-process and final inspections of various products, including Industrial Motors, Gearboxes, Machined Components, and Castings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance personnel to ensure effective execution of quality control processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Formal qualifications in a relevant subject, such as Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role, ideally with a focus on external quality assurance.
  • Leadership skills and qualities, as well as the ability to drive new initiatives.
Benefits:
  • 37.5 hours per week with flexible start time.
  • Core hours: 10:00 – 15:30 Monday to Thursday / 10:00 to 14:30 Friday.
  • Earliest start: 07:00.
  • Holiday entitlement: 33 days including public holidays.
  • Personal bonus: 10% – based on individual performance.
  • Pension scheme: 15% combined contribution (9% employer / 6% employee).
