**Consultant Urological Surgeon with an Interest in Robotic Upper Tract Surgery and Renal Cancer**

As part of development of their services, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT) are looking for a Consultant Urological Surgeon, with a specialist interest in Robotic Upper Tract Surgery and renal cancer.

Responsible for the management of acute and elective Urological disease, the appointee will join a team of 14 other Urology surgeons.

The post is based primarily at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton, which provides excellent facilities, including a 15-theatre operating suite and 2 Da Vinci Robotic platforms. The Trust provides a multi-speciality robotic service which includes Urology, Colorectal, Cardiothoracic and Gynaecological surgery.

The service has recently merged with the Urology service previously provided by Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust and increasing integration across the sites will mean that outreach clinics may be performed at Walsall Manor Hospital site.

In addition to any specialist interests, all consultants will be involved in providing a general clinical service to the Trust.

The future post holder would be required to perform robotic nephrectomies, partial nephrectomies and robotic benign procedures such as pyeloplasty. The post holder would be expected to play a pivotal role in developing the renal cancer service in partnership with Black Country ICS colleagues.
