Role conditional on passing employee vetting process which includes a 5 year employment reference check, 3 year financial probity and basic criminal disclosure check.

**Key Purpose**:
The Delivery Lead sits within the change and transformation function and is primarily responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of ongoing software developments. This will involve working closely with both the product owners and with internal and external development resources to ensure software is delivered on track.

The role holder must have some knowledge and experience of both agile delivery and traditional project management and be able to select or blend the approaches to achieve the right outcome depending on the situation and any client requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the Product Owners to understand the product roadmaps, backlogs and user stories to produce delivery plans.
- Operate as a Scrum Master within development teams.
- Work with both internal and external resources to agree estimates and approaches for the delivery of work packages.
- Co-ordinate one or more small teams of engineers to deliver ongoing software developments utilising appropriate methods.
- Take ownership and assist the delivery teams in removing blockers to progress or escalating where appropriate for decisions.
- Where the Scrum methodology is utilised, orchestrate any Scrum activities such as stand-ups, sprint planning and story refinement.
- Ensure that there is clear visibility of work-in-progress across the team utilising our in-house preferred communication tools and reporting mechanisms.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

- Experienced in ensuring deliveries meet requirements for governance/compliance / regulatory management and adherence.
- Desirable - Understanding of Medico Legal Industry

**Experience**
- Delivery experience required, ideally in an agile software development environment, across a range of products and teams.
- Desirable - Experience of a number of agile frameworks e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban.

**Qualifications**
- Desirable - Recognised Project Management qualification
- Desirable - Recognised Agile/Scrum Certification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
