Spire Bristol Hospital are looking to bring on a Diagnostic Imaging Administrator to join their established team. The post holder will provide support for the users of the Imaging clinical and administrative IT systems, and in particular oversee the IEP (Image Exchange Portal) process. The post holder will work as part of the wider diagnostic imaging team and provide first line support for all Imaging IT queries. The post holder will need to have a working knowledge of hospital IT systems especially SAP and its interface with PACS, RIS and the IEP process. The post holder will also act as the link between the equipment multivendor service and the department to ensure that all maintenance is carried out in a timely manner.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- To actively manage the IEP process so that all imported images are available at the time of reporting
- Liaise with other hospitals/providers to resolve IEP queries
- Ensure that the transfer of patient data follows department protocols and is in keeping with Information Governance regulations
- Troubleshoot issues relating to Imaging IT liaising with the department, Spire IT and system suppliers to rectify quickly and efficiently
- To support the PACS lead in resolving issues that arise regarding Radiologists queries with PACS
- To undertake housekeeping associated with the PACS/RIS systems ensuring that all examinations are reported in a timely manner, liaising with Radiologists as required
- To train all staff in the use of Imaging IT systems to ensure a consistent standard of use across the hospital
- To produce statistics as required from Imaging IT systems
- Undertake audits associated with PACS, RIS and IEP's as required
- Act as the first point of contact for the Imaging equipment multivendor service ensuring that all equipment is serviced and maintained correctly, and Imaging equipment is available for servicing
- To maintain the asset register of all Imaging IT equipment, liaising with Spire IT regarding upgrades and serviceability
- Develop own and others' personal development
- **Who we're looking for**
- Must come from a similar position with experience in administration / dealing with administrative tasks in their role at present.
- Experience of working in IT within the healthcare environment
- Experience of working within a helpdesk or similar supportive role within a team
- Experience of planning work and acting under instruction
- Ability to work as part of a team and at their own initiative
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Basic IT Skills / IT Literate
- Empathy with sick and vulnerable patients
- Empathy for principles and importance of equality and dignity at work
