**Salary**: £28,142.93 - £30,971.68 per annum (pay award pending)

Contract Duration: Permanent

**Role Purpose**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Development Management Team within the Environment and Infrastructure Service to assist and contribute to contribute to the delivery of the Council’s statutory planning and building standards enforcement functions.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills to join the enforcement team as an Assistant Enforcement Officer. The role represents an opportunity to work as part of a small enforcement team ensuring development works comply with the necessary statutory approvals.

The workload is varied and will involve working with various departments across the Council, as well as elected members, public bodies and members of the public

**Essential**:
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
