Finance Administrator

We are looking for a **Finance Administrator** to join our forward-thinking and dynamic team, based in Worthing (West Sussex). We are an award-winning IT Solutions company with ambitious plans for growth
- Salary range: from £23,000 to £25,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working available

**What you’ll do**
You’ll join our Business Operations team working in our office in Worthing, West Sussex, and you will play a pivotal role in our business.
**Finance Administration duties**
Raise purchase orders and invoices
Negotiate payment terms with suppliers as required
Use Quickbooks online for all accounting transactions and processes
Create and upload supporting documents to the CRM
Create deal sheets breaking down GP and add data to commission sheets
Undertake internet banking on a daily basis
Collate payments received and update Quickbooks and commission sheets
Keep and maintain a short-term cash flow report for snapshot reporting
Process expense claims
**Financial Analysis**
Shared responsibility for the company's petty cash and debit card
Create deal sheets and update commission sheets
Maintain a record and report on A/R collection periods
Monthly reports on the average monetary value of overdue invoices
Work with Finance Director on forecast data
Monitor supplier debtor days
**Credit Control**
Monitor, maintain and undertake Customer credit checks
Request completion of credit account forms and process
Update CRM with credit details and add descriptions of any adverse credit issues
Create statements of accounts
Instigate credit calls to customers before the due date to ensure timely payments
Escalate credit calls as necessary to meet KPIs
Oversee bad debts with solicitors
**Skills Required**:
- Ideally 3 years’ experience in a similar role; credit control, order processing, bookkeeping or accounts
- Good working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools
- High accuracy and attention to detail
**Behavioural skills required**:
- Enthusiastic, flexible, collaborative attitude
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
- Effective communication and relationship building
