A full-time vacancy has opened for a Band 4 clerical supervisor to lead our front of house Radiology (X-Ray) clerical team at Watford General Hospital.
The duties and responsibilities of the post holder are to be an effective, empathetic and caring leader of the Radiology administration team at Watford General Hospital, providing a high standard of clerical and imaging services to our patients and Radiology staff colleagues.
To include in the rotation around various areas of the Radiology Department, i.e. Reception, Ultrasound Appointments Office, Maternity Ultrasound, Image Transfers and CD burning.
This post is ideal for strong communicators who enjoy being part of a close-knit team, whilst maintaining wider professional relationships with many disciplines within the hospital.
There has never been a more exciting time to join West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Major redevelopment works are due for completion by 2025 or soon after. These will be most dramatic at Watford General Hospital where up to 90% of buildings will be new.

Duties include welcoming all patients and service users to the department.
**Leading the clerical team with clerical duties such as**: Booking patients in for their examinations and directing to the relevant sub waiting areas. Arranging X-ray, Ultrasound, and other appointments.
Answering telephone queries and other general clerical and lead role duties.
