**£30,000 - £35,000 pa + Pension + BUPA + ShareSave + 6.6 weeks holiday + hybrid working (1 day per week in our Southampton Office)**

**Key responsibilities**

As Video and Content Coordinator you will deliver compelling video content for our customers so that they’re supported at every stage of their home improvement and shopping journey. The video content coordinator is responsible for the planning, creative and day-to-day delivery of B&Q’s video content such as How To’s, campaign videos and real-time content. As well as creating high quality, engaging video content to meet customer and colleague needs.

In this role you will:

- Plan video content that meets a customer need (providing a solution to a problem or enhancing the shopping experience)
- Work with the Video Producer to plan and schedule projects that meet business and brand objectives.
- Work with the Head of Content, Social & PR and Video Producer to develop new and creative solutions for video content, always stretching our thinking and trying new things
- Conceive and execute real-time video content to respond to cultural events and moments, allowing us to be agile and reactive where we need to be to remain ahead of the competition.
- Have responsibility alongside Producer for creative development of concepts, ideas and briefing from initial brainstorm to execution.
- Stay on top of current and upcoming trends for styling and projects. Keeping an eye on gaps in content and identifying areas of opportunity.
- Take accountability with the Video Producer for the delivery of video content to relevant B&Q stakeholders, working with selected third parties or in-house production resource
- Liaise with Video Producer to review the brief and agree the desired outcomes whilst providing guidance on how to best execute video content to meet these needs
- Liaise with production agency during and post production for required video content
- Liaise with Content Planning Manager and Video Producer to ensure the right message is prioritised for use
- Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines and ensuring all assets are put through creative review.
- Liaise with Commercial Buying teams and Content Planning Manager to prepare props and products ahead of video shoots, keeping product lists with EANS ready for product linking on YouTube and enquiries.
- Liaise with channels on sign off of content from scripts, set designs, props and product nominations, locations, cast, and final creative within brand guidelines to ensure it meets the agreed brief and stakeholder needs.
- Upload completed and approved assets to The Source/The Dam

**Required skills & experience**

To be successful in the role you will need:

- Flair for creativity and innovation in the creation and scoping of video content
- Good communication skills to ensure plans are supported and backed internally
- Excellent organisation skills to ensure work is delivered on time and to budget against the plan
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Aware of, and able to capitalise on, cultural moments and opportunities in video output so that B&Q is present at the right moments
- An ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise under direction from senior team members
- A natural ability to communicate with a range of business stakeholders and to provide regular updates on project progress
- An awareness of the enhancements available in video content such as annotations, interactivity, click-to-buy etc
- Sound knowledge of video production process from briefing to scripting, production and editing
- A sound understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (to include Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Auditions, After Effects), Microsoft Office and be MAC proficient would be beneficial for this role.

**Other Requirements**: Travel required for attending video shoots
