**The Role**:
You will support the young people aged between 8-16 years old with emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD) to maximise their opportunities and strengths and to address their needs by:

- Providing a warm and welcoming environment for young people to thrive and achieve their best outcomes.
- Providing support and reassurance.
- Ensuring an excellent service is delivered at all times.
- Encouraging development using life skills.
- Providing a safe and secure environment.
- Being a positive role model.
- Supporting with financial management and budgeting in preparation for adulthood.
- Ensuring house administration, daily paper work, petty cash books and recording are to the required standard.
- Work closely with external professionals. Including Social Workers, Teachers and Health Care Professionals.
- Giving your team clear direction and motivation through challenging times.

**What You Need to Succeed**:

- Enhanced DBS check.
- Flexibilty.
- Full clean UK Driving Licence (preferred).
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Must be 21 Years of age or older.
- Sleep-ins as required.
- On-calls as per the rota pattern.
- Overtime as required.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- Experience of supervising a team within a Residential Child Care setting.
- Previous experience and knowledge of working with Behavioural and Emotional Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour.

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
