JR Pridham Services Ltd (JRP) has been providing specialist MEICA-related services since 1987.

A family owned busniess with four bases thoughout the UK, working within the UK Water industry.

**Purpose of role**

The Compliance Assistant will assist the Compliance Manager, providing administrative support, including internal auditing of the organisation’s management systems.

**Accountabilities**

Typical (non-exhaustive) duties may include:
- Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures.
- Ensuring that policies, programmes, systems, procedures, and registrations are developed and maintained to meet company and regulatory health, safety environmental and quality assurance requirements.
- Assist with ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 accreditation preparation and audits.
- Assist the with monitoring and coordinating Health and Safety activities.
- Assistance in the preparation collation and issue of reports and registers as may be required.
- Provide administrative support to the compliance manager, including data input and spreadsheet management.
- Trouble-shoot problems, implement and communicate corrective and preventative actions.
- Assisting with various types of risk assessments including COSHH and Manual Handling
- Preparing procedure documents and their associated forms and registers etc. as required
- Any other reasonable task requested by the Compliance Manager.

**Required Skills**:
**Essential**:

- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible approach to problem solving with an ability to think on their feet.
- Ability to learn fast on the job.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- An organised person who can use their own initiative and work well on their own or as part of a team.
- A UK driving License and must be prepared to travel.
- Experience in conducting internal procedure / process audits.

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 management systems.
- Completion and management of risk assessments including COSHH.
- Ability to chair meetings and committees.
- Presenting to groups including senior management
- ISO 9001, 45001 and/or 14001 Internal / External Auditor Training
- NEBOSH Level 3 certificate
- IOSH Managing safely.
