The (CTO) reports to the CEO and is responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision, leading all aspects of the company ’s technology development and the key individual responsible for pursuing and delivering the Product agenda. The CTO is the company’s top technology executive, playing an integral role in the company’s strategic direction, development, and future growth.

The CTO role offers a balance of significant operational responsibility and strategic opportunity to help drive better use of technology across the Group. The CTO will have the bearing and gravitas to lead the entire Technical team at a time of great opportunity in the sector. They will exude integrity and conviction and will naturally install credibility and confidence in all stakeholders.

They will see complexities in the business model and the market as challenges and opportunities for the organization and will have the ability, in conjunction with senior people within the company, to build and implement new strategies necessary to meet the needs of all stakeholders.

This is a key appointment and requires well-honed technical and business skills, coupled with a track record of leadership and management, ideally gained within an established retail and e-commerce company of repute, skills that will be respected by peers and subordinates without question and will bring this experience to bear in the trading environment. Prior experience of people management is an essential prerequisite, with an extremely good working knowledge of sports and interest in the gaming industry being very important.

**Experience**:
A minimum of 10 years management experience in a commercial organisation with substantial experience in a CTO/Senior management role.

Significant senior management experience within the online gaming industry and/or high velocity online transactional environment.

Management of a fast paced business of a similar size and experience of working within a corporate structure.

Proven ability to significantly increase efficiencies and continuously deliver positive results to the company.

Ability to nurture the management skills of all managers in the IT Department and ensure skills and career development of all members of the IT Department, through timely and accurate performance reviews.

Establishing a process to identify and develop talent within the IT Department and develop a robust succession plan for the department.

Skills in business analysis, business process design, project management, and e-commerce strategy.

Have a successful track record of establishing and managing multi-location development operations.

**Duties**:

- Recruit development team for the purposes of R&D
- Manage R&D department to develop and deploy new technologies
- Define MVP for product roadmap and plan milestones for development
- Streamline company policies and rules
- Conduct research to improve the technological assets of a company
- Oversee IT budgets to make sure there are no unnecessary expenditures
- Develop and direct all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client information
- Plan and implement proper Internet usage policies for employees
- Evaluate new technology and recommend technological solutions
- Use technological assets to help ease use for employees and clients
- Manage any digital media assets
- Consistently evaluate technical efficiency and makes changes as necessary
- Make presentations to board of directors and chief executive officer
- Develop and enhances MT2 onmi-channel web presence to increase site traffic
- Identify competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of a company
- Direct the development and possible implementation of policies in instances of a breach, also known as disaster recovery plans
- Implement blockchain and Web 3.0 policies and infrastructure
