Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work within an OFSTED rated ‘good’ Primary school in Leominster, to join their team on a long-term basis. The school aim to provide an environment where individuals, both children and staff, feel valued and appreciated.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have experience of supporting classes within the Early Years. You will have a secure understanding of the EYFS, and proven success of acting as a ‘play partner’ to extend children’s learning. The school are seeking a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant who appreciates the importance of learning through play. You will be working as a Teaching Assistant within a Nursery, and must be comfortable in supporting young children with personal care.

We are looking for a passionate and committed Early Years Teaching Assistant to start following the half term holiday. The role will provisionally continue until the Easter holidays, but may have the potential to become a longer term position.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:

- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience of supporting children within the EYFS or KS1
- Experience of teaching or supporting Phonics
- DBS on the update service of issued within the last 12 months
