**What the day will look like**
- As a Risk Settlement Partner at Aon, you will be a key leader in our 70-strong Risk Settlement Group, which has a uniquely diverse range of experts and specialist sub-teams. Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Lead adviser on a range of settlement transactions across the pension risk transfer market (including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation/capital solutions), taking ownership for the project delivery and client relationship.
- Advise clients on their strategic ‘Journey to Settlement’, including preparation for approaching the settlement market and feasibility.
- Create strong relationships with external stakeholders such as trustees, sponsors and other transaction advisers to develop settlement opportunities.
- Lead on new business opportunities and initiatives both internally and externally.
- Leverage your deep knowledge of the settlement market to provide innovative settlement solutions for our clients.
- Lead on key marketing initiatives and media engagement, including our annual marketing campaign and our dedicated risk settlement conference.
- Play a key role in the growth and leadership of the team.
- Develop new strategies and propositions within the Risk Settlement Group and implement them on a range of clients.
- Coach, mentor and support direct and indirect reports to create future leaders.

- You will hold lead transaction adviser roles across a significant portfolio of clients, with responsibility for the relationship of some of our key clients and stakeholders, including insurers, reinsurers and other transaction advisers. You will also have a broader impact beyond your clients, leading our new business initiatives, developing our propositions and marketing strategies, leading our innovative market solutions and developing our future leaders.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Ideally certified to provide regulated settlement advice on bulk annuities and/or longevity swaps
- Track record of leading settlement transactions and client relationships
- Extensive industry experience coupled with deep technical capability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivating and ambitious
- Able to encourage and develop colleagues, and work well within diverse teams
- Whilst having an eye for detail, also capable in advising at a strategic level
