Your new company
This is a continuously growing niche organisation who has gained new business and contracts and is therefore going through a continuous improvement journey in their HR provision. Currently this SME is at circa 400+ staff UK wide over 5 sites, with more planned.
Your new role
You will take ownership of the brand-new HR provision to the Lincolnshire site, providing a proactive and effective HR service to employees and the Line Managers. You will also work strategically on projects with the HR Director (based at Head Office down south)
- all to drive the Company and Site's People Agenda
Your remit is to work with the General Manager of site to further develop an excellent working culture, a high performing culture and provide strategic people insight for the leadership team. You will be instrumental in the journey of "upskilling" of commercialand management capability for the Line Managers and Senior Management Team.
You will also get involved in a variety of projects that are planned for the next 18 months - around site culture, Diversity Inclusion and Belonging (EDI), Engagement, commerciality & high performance, job roles & "families" competency frameworks, talent management,succession planning, L&D/Coaching/Mentoring/Training - to name a few.
This is a truly great role for someone with a commercial, HR project and proactive mindset, who wants to take their HR career forward, work on "value added" HR projects and work within a wider HR team as the site "expert".
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have experience at working at HR Manager or Business Partner level, - or Senior HR Advisory (ready for that next step) - both projects and operationally.
Have experience of working with managers to offer a partnering provision, empowering and upskilling service. Ideally have some Trade Union experience
HR Projects experience.
Ideally you will be CIPD Level 5 minimum Qualified or of suitably equivalent experience level.
What you'll get in return
In return you will be offered an 18-month FTC, a competitive salary, circa £40-£42k and a bonus - DOE and qualifications.
The role is working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday - but with flexibility
Ideally you will be able to work in the office on site 2 - 3 days a week (dependant on business needs) and the rest can be flexible - from home or office - as you prefer.
More than standard holidays - 25 per annum plus Bank Holidays
