Clinical & Business System Support Assistant

We have some great opportunities within the friendly Clinical & Business Team in Cornwall IT Services. We are a great team and welcome individuals that may be new to the IT World - this role is an excellent place to start your IT career as a C&B System Support Assistant.
We are looking for a strong team player with excellent communication and customer care skills. Someone who wants to learn more about IT system administration and help other NHS healthcare professionals in their role.
We support remote working from home but if you prefer you can work from one of our offices at Redruth or Truro. You may need to be on-site for key training.
These roles are fixed term whilst other team members are seconded to the eCare project.
We are looking for a person with the following skills, attributes and experience:
Great customer care skills
Accurate word processing/typing/numeracy/data entry skills
Ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively
Copes well in a busy environment
Focused and driven
Excellent team player

This position will be providing system administration and support on various Clinical or Business Applications used within the NHS in Cornwall. The team mainly provides User account administration, User support and system configuration. We use a Call Management system to manage our workload and ensure we attend to things in a timely way.
As well as the day to day administration we also provide support for system enhancements and upgrades, working with Project Managers to ensure the change goes in smoothly.
We are looking for someone to come and join our great team and be that friendly face to help Users with any queries. Great communication and customer care skills are required as well as attention to detail and accuracy on the administration.
You will be well supported and trained on the various Applications system administration screens and processes. We use a team approach to resolve more difficult issues and your input will be valued.
It is a great starting post if you are interested in stepping into Information Technology and you do not need to be technical. We will mentor and train you along the way and welcome individuals for all aspects of life.
