Job Summary
Leatside Health Centre is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our team. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering nursing treatments and chronic disease management to patients in collaboration with healthcare professionals and service users.
Main Responsibilities
- Independently assess, diagnose, treat, refer, signpost, and discharge patients and service users.
- Provide routine care to patients as required, in accordance with clinical-based evidence and NICE guidelines.
- Ensure clinical treatment is safe, effective, and conducted within the boundaries of competence, and acknowledge limitations.
- Participate in vaccination programmes, vaccinating patients in the practice and/or on home visits.
- Work within practice policies and procedures.
- Contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the team and work colleagues.
- Undertake the collection of pathology specimens, including blood samples, swabs, etc.

Requirements
- Must have experience of working as a Practice Nurse.
- Registered Nurse with NMC.
- Evidence of CPD.
- Experience of working across a variety of multidisciplinary teams.
