**Since 1994, when we opened our funeral directors here in Bishopsworth, we have arranged funerals for the local and wider South Bristol communities, providing a higher standard of service.**

R Davies & Son Funeral Directors in Bishopsworth** **are looking for a compassionate, dedicated individual to join our team as a Funeral Service Arranger, to advise and support our families when arranging the funeral for a loved one.

**What Will I Be Doing as A Funeral Service Arranger?**

As a Funeral Service Arranger, you will be one of the very first points of contact for our families. You are going to be the coordinator that supports our families, arranges the funerals and works alongside our teams to ensure that the funerals are delivered at the highest standard, whilst also meeting the personable requests of the families.

**Other duties will include**:

- Create a welcoming, safe and caring atmosphere
- Arrange funerals according to Company guidelines ensuring that the full range of services and products are offered, thereby addressing the needs of the client
- Maintain excellent service to client’s who telephone, visit the branch, or in cases where home visits are required.
- Be available for clients to visit the deceased (chapel of rest visits) during office hours and out of hours by arrangement to company standards and guidelines

**What Do I Need?**
- A Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience within a Customer Service or Administrative position.
- Proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both in-person and remotely.
- Comfortable coming into contact with the deceased through the Chapel of Rest visits.
- Presentable at all times, acting with professional conduct and showing empathy.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- A passion for customer service.

**Advantageous**:

- Previous experience in the industry, though this is not required, as full training will be provided.
