Sales Lead

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Salesman to join our team in the building consumables industry. As a Salesman, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of construction materials and supplies to contractors, builders, architects, and other professionals in the construction industry. Your primary objective will be to drive sales, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets while providing exceptional customer service.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to identify and target potential customers in the construction industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing personalized solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect for new customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our building consumables.
- Provide accurate and timely quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to expand your professional network and promote our products.
- Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence using CRM software.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a focus on delivering value to customers.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of building materials and construction processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
