The post holder will be encouraged to take on a leadership role supported by the Senior Management Team, Service Manager and Clinical Lead. The post holder will join a well-established eating disorder service. The post holder will be required to assess and manage service users who present with an eating disorder. The post holder will be a member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and have support of other team members in the management of these cases.

As the service is exclusively an outpatient service, the post holder will not hold an inpatient service user case load, but the post holder will offer liaison role with our specialist in patient units (SEDUs) or local Acute Trusts in order to maintain joint working and smooth transition into and out of in patient service user beds. The post holder would be expected to provide dietetic supervision and leadership of dieticians within the eating disorders team. The post holder would be expected to use their clinical expertise to recommend on dietetic transformation plans to develop the dietetic offer to children, young people and adults within the geographical offer; this includes the clinical expertise development to support of new and proposed pathways within the services transformation plan E.gARFIDs. The post holder will be expected to attend and participate in MDT team meetings as well as CPA meetings of cases on their case load.
