**Job Title: Project Coordinator**

**Hours**:21 hours per week (part-time)

**Starting salary**: £25,767 (pro-rata)

**Location**:Office base is Chorley. A mix of home and office working, with a focus on delivery in Burnley and Pendle

**Do you want to join an organisation who are passionate about improving mental health and wellbeing for Lancashire communities?**

We’re looking for a bold and caring person to join our Adult Projects team. We want someone who has experience of working with South Asian communities, ideally with the ability to communicate bilingually and has the drive and determination to deliver quality and impactful projects.

To succeed in the role, you will need excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences; service users, public sector professionals and the voluntary and community sector. Previous experience of supporting people with their mental health is advantageous. You will be open, hardworking, creative and understand the barriers to engagement South Asian communities can face.

You will work on the Connecting Communities project; funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. You will plan, deliver and evaluate 1:1 and group support in a variety of settings in the local community, focussing delivery on Burnley and Pendle.

This is an exciting time for Lancashire Mind as we grow our adult projects team to reach and support more people. We want someone who believes in our vision of a Lancashire where everyone has the opportunity to have the best mental health and wellbeing possible.

Lancashire Mind has a dedicated workplace wellbeing programme to ensure staff are supported with their own wellbeing which includes an Employee Assistance Programme and wellbeing activities throughout the year. We also offer a workplace pension scheme, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays and 3 additional days during Christmas shutdown), paid emergency time off to care for dependents, regular supervision, and a commitment to supporting learning and development opportunities. Above all, we are a friendly and supportive place to work.
