Junior Yard Assistant

As a Junior Yard Assistant, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring the smooth running of our busy yard.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials
- Organizing and maintaining stock levels
- Operating forklifts and other yard machinery (full training will be provided)
- Ensuring a safe and tidy working environment

This role is combined with working between the yard and the warehouse therefore you'll often be working outside. This is a physically demanding role and would be a great opportunity for people who love working outdoors. Full PPE and workwear will be supplied.

Learn from skilled foremen and managers in the trade through on the job coaching and training. Development and exposure in other areas of the business is encouraged for those wishing to build a career within the family business.

To be in our successful team you will need to be able to demonstrate enhanced levels of customer service, be hardworking, reliable, have the likeability factor, have a good attention to detail and work well as part of a supportive team.

**Salary**: meets National Minimum Wage

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7:30 - 17:00 and every second Saturday 7:30 - 12:00
